Accessibility
Cinema should be for everyone. We want Mosion to be usable and enjoyable regardless of ability, device or connection, and we are actively working toward that as we build.
Our commitment
We are committed to making Mosion accessible to as many people as possible and to improving continuously based on your feedback. Accessibility is part of how we design and build our website and our mobile and TV apps, not an afterthought.
What we are doing
- Designing for strong colour contrast and readable, scalable type across the site and apps.
- Supporting keyboard navigation and clear, visible focus states on the web.
- Using descriptive labels, alternative text and semantic structure so assistive technologies can interpret the interface.
- Providing a 10-foot, remote-friendly interface with clear focus handling on our Android TV and Fire TV apps.
- Offering subtitles and captions on films where they are provided by the rights holder.
- Testing across a range of devices, screen sizes and connection speeds.
Standards we aim for
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our reference point and work toward meeting it across our experiences. On mobile and TV, we also follow the relevant platform accessibility guidance from Apple, Google and the TV platforms.
Known limitations
Mosion is in open beta, and some areas are still being improved. Captions and subtitles may not yet be available on every title, some screens are still being refined for full accessibility, and coverage may vary across the web, mobile and TV apps. We are actively closing these gaps and welcome your input on where to prioritise.
Tell us how we can do better
If you run into an accessibility barrier on Mosion, we want to hear about it. Email [email protected] with the details — the page or screen, your device, and what went wrong — and we will do our best to help and to fix it.
